I wish I could talk to you, John, about my brother, James. I don’t know how much you two talked. I hope you were good friends, as he was your crew chief. My brother was so nice and from all the friends that responded with tributes to you, I know you were a good guy too. Such a loss for friends and family. Way too young. We have some letters from Jimmy and I read them now and then. It’s hard to do, knowing what was coming. Jimmy’s tour was 3/2/68-7/27/68, so five months over there. He had just turned 19 seven days earlier and had a wife with a child on the way. Well, just wanted to put a few words to paper talking to the last person with my brother. God’s love to you both.
