This picture was taken outside the TOC at the 1000 man EPW/CI enclosure at Cook Campsite, at Fort AP Hill, VA. I was the Battalion S-3 for the 724th MP BN. Larry is the Battalion Commander for the 160th MP BN. The two battalions co-located on-site to run a Joint TOC with an MI Battalion. A few months later I recieved assignment orders for the USASC& Fort Gordon, GA. The following year Larry ran another 1000 EPW/CI enclosure at Fort Gordon. I was able to spend time with him and, Nina and I hosted his staff at our home in Martinez for dinner.
