SSgt. Wendell Wallace served with 511th Transportation Detachment, 4th Transporation Command, Army Support Command Saigon, 1st Logistics Command in Phuoc Tuy Province, RVN. Apparently, he was injured in a private cycle accident, later resulting in his death. He  left a wife and three sons in Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia.
