STAFF WRITER | TIMES HERALD-RECORD | 10:32 pm EDT October 23, 2013, September 12, 1944 - October 18, 2013, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, Our Beloved Juanita Justiniano Ruiz of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was 69 years old. The daughter of the late Eulogio Justiniano and Rosalia Ruiz, she was born September 12, 1944 in Las Marias, Puerto Rico. She was married to Evangelista Pagan, who predeceased her and later married Carlos Collazo, who also predeceased her. Juanita is survived by her children: Jose Angel Pagan and his wife, Rosalba Pagan of Ellenville, NY, Javier Collazo of Brooklyn, NY, and Gladys Pagan of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She is survived by her siblings: Rafael Justiniano, Angel Luis Justiniano, Emilio Justiniano and his wife, Edith Justiniano, Leonidas Justiniano, Hortensia Santos and her husband, Felipe Santos and Carmen Maria Justiniano. She is also survived by several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 N. Main St., Ellenville. A Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Mary and St. Andrews Church in Ellenville.
