Last Known Activity:

1LT Kalsu died while at an artillery firing position when the area, Fire Support Base Ripcord, 24 km southwest of Phong Dien (A Shau Valley), came under mortar attack by a hostile force during a helicopter evacuation attempt, Coffelt Database.
