A/C was in 4th in flight of 10 heading to AO. Weather was marginal in all quadrants and broken over the intended LZ. After BLUE 2 hit C&C ship, A/C flew directly into the debris and explosion causing the rotor system and T/B to tear away, crashed and explode on impact with ground

Flight was carrying troops from the Royal Army Thai Volunteer Brigade.
