WO1 John B. Kinney, who graduated with Warrant Officer Rotary-Wing Aviator Class 66-13 and was a classmate of mine at Primary Helicopter School in Ft. Wolters, TX was killed after his tour of duty in Vietnam. He died in a helicopter accident near Augsburg, W. Germany. As I recall, his OH-23 was narrowly missed by two F-105 fighter jets and the turbulence caused a total loss of control of the helicopter.
