Robert born February 3, 1910 in Senatobia, Mississippi. Died September 7, 2006, of natural causes, Englewood, New Jersey. He was among many occupations a Stage and Screen Actor. Robert separated from his wife Ruth Connolly before James Earl Jones was born in 1931. Robert & Ruth divorced after James was born and Robert did not come to know his son, James, until the mid 1950's, most likely after James served in the US Army 1953 - 1955. Robert and James appeared in several Off Broadway productions, including "Moon on a Rainbow Shawl" (1962). Robert's second marriage to Jumelle also ended in divorce.
