This was a blue, three piece uniform. Under the skirt we wore shorts that were for when we did PT. We had to starch and iron it, and some of the gals starched the skirt so much it would stand up by itself! The black bands with rank were only for when one of us was acting as a platoon sergeant or squad leader.
