Why I decided to join armor:
I'm still deployed so I don't have all of my pictures from my early years so these pictures will have to suffice.
I remember as a kid climbing all over a M4 Sherman around some park I don't even remember any more. But I thought I would liked to have been on one of those tanks.
Later on when I was older, I discovered the Sherman was a death trap for its crews during WW2 (but I still thought the tank looked cool).
The Israelis did a good job with their modified M-50 Super Shermans but it's still a Sherman.
