I retired from my Mil-tech job (63rd Army Reserve Cmd) as Hv-Equip Inspector at ECS#30 Maintenance Repair Shop Bldg. 730, Camp Parks (Dublin, CA. after 34 years of service. and now I'am with the California State Military Reserve (SDF) From:05 Jun 1996 To: Pres. appointed as CW2-Chief with the S-4, unit: 100th Troop Command Support Bde. San Rafael,CA., this unit  is under the California Army National Guard , we our a AUX support to them. (as the Coast Guard AUX is to the Reg-Coast Guard Units.

Well I made it. Altogether I have 43 Years plus. 1. Active Duty from: May 1966 to May 1969 US Army Ft. Ord,CA (IAT), Korea 1/25th FA, Ft. Carson, CO 115th Pet Co; 2. USAR Duty from May 1969 to Jun 1996 US Army Reserve. Ft Baker,CA. & OABR,CA. 801st (PC) Engr - PSF,CA. 6211th USAG San Jose,CA 496th MP Bn; 3. CSMR-(SDF) From 06 Jun 1996 to Retirement on the Night 22 Oct 11 at our Dinning In , Unit : Nor Com HHC San Rafael, CA.

My complete Army career path was in the MOS 63 Maintenance Field. I went from Wheel Veh Mech MOS 63B20, to Track Mech, MOS 63H30, then Auto-Mech / Inspector Mos: 63H40, Motor Sgt Mos 63B40 Maintenance NCOIC MOS 63Z50.

I was in the Army at the time of the Vietnam War, but I went over to KOREA.

Fort Carson, CO. At this active duty station is were I met my wife.

Going into the Army and going to Fort Ord, CA. and the long bus ride.

One day I replaced some batteries in a truck. When I tried to start this truck and go pick up supply, the truck did not start. Someone took by battery. I did not laugh at first. But later I did.
