Reflections on CW4 Beebe's
US Army Service

WHAT PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF FROM YOUR MILITARY CAREER?
I have no medals or awards for valor.
|
OF ALL THE MEDALS, AWARDS, FORMAL PRESENTATIONS AND QUALIFICATION BADGES YOU RECEIVED, OR OTHER MEMORABILIA, WHICH ONE IS THE MOST MEANINGFUL TO YOU AND WHY?
My most significant award ever is a certificate of achievement from the Commander of the 200th MP CO. I was given this for the support I provided this unit from the MDNG as they fell under our task force to provide initial security at the Pentagon after Sept 11, 2001. I was given this award from a genuinely appreciative Commander and that is why it means the most to me.
|
WHICH INDIVIDUAL(S) FROM YOUR TIME IN THE MILITARY STAND OUT AS HAVING THE MOST POSITIVE IMPACT ON YOU AND WHY?
SFC (R) John Riggins was my motor sergeant in Ft Benning while assigned to the C Co, 43rd Eng BN (C)(H). His Christian influence and professionalism helped shape the good in me for the rest of my career. He truly was a professional mechanic and he was a consumate leader at that. He showed me how to care for soldiers and lead by example. I will never forget him nor the influence he had on me.
