Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

Remembering An American Hero
Posted on 7/12/15 - by Curt Carter ccarter02@earthlink.net
Dear SSGT Clifford Henry Scheck, sir As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned. May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you. With respect, Sir Curt Carter
Thank You

I am a junior at Gridley High School. I am doing a project for a U.S. History class that involves reading about some of the people who sacrificed their lives during the Vietnam War. It is our goal as a class to write 1,000 remembrances or more on those who don't have remembrances. It would be nice to see that all 58,220 people would have remembrances someday. I would like to make a special remembrance to Clifford Henry Scheck who gave his life during the Vietnam War and died a hero on July 12, 1968. Thank you so much again and may God bless you and your family.
Sincerely,
Kelsey Zehr
