Remembering An American Hero
Dear SGT Daniel Keith Wilson, sir As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned. May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you. With respect, Sir Curt Carter
Peace with Honor

You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Dan.
Never Forgotten ?
As your Birthday approaches you would be turning 66 this year. And I know all of us will be remembering you! If you were still here and I would of gotten to know you... I'm sure Lance would be making some smart comment like he always does and Colleen, Carmen and Mark would all be laughing so hard. It sucks that I never got to know you and that dad can hardly remember you. But thank you for serving our great country and I hope you will be celebrating up in heaven with grandma and grandpa. I'm sure you and your great niece Jayd would have had the same relationship her and Lance do where he always pick a on her =) Someday we will finally meet but until then... take care of everyone and send some warm thoughts down here =) Love your niece Jess

~In Remembrance of a Fallen Hero~
n Remembrance of this Young Soldier, with a Multitude of Thanks for his Courage, Service and Dedication to our Country and for Freedom. Rest well Sgt. Daniel Keith Wilson and know that you will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. I am the sister of such a young hero, who made the Supreme Sacrifice in Vietnam 1967...
...now arises from hallowed ground a delicate cloud of bugle notes that softly say, go to sleep... Comrades true, born anew, peace to you. Your souls shall be where the heroes are and your memories shine like the morning star...Slumber well where the shells screamed and fell...The danger has passed, and now at last, go to sleep... Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth and danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings, Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds and done a hundred things. You have not dreamed of wheeled and soared and swung, high in the sunlit silence, hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung my eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long delirious, burning blue I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace, where never lark, or even eagle flew, and, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out my hand and touched the face of God.
