I touched your name you touched my heart
I didn't know you, Jim. My husband Tom served in Vietnam and came back, as did other family and friends. You made the ultimate sacrifice. I have wanted to visit the Vietnam Memorial for a long time and last week, I did. I did not have a name to search for, but decided to touch a name I wandered up and down the wall, and came to a stop, reached out and saw your name: Jim S Traw. I shed some tears for you and for the life you did not get to complete. I hope you saw that from your spot in Heaven. I will always remember your name, and I hope to meet you one fine day. God bless you, dear Jim.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother”. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

Friend
Jimmy Traw was my friend. He was a good guy and a good soldier. He had a great sense of humor and we had many laughs in A.I.T. He was killed by a 122mm rocket as he was taking cover. I wept over his body and have thought of him often over the years. I wish that I had a photo but I do not. I haven't forgotten you, Jimmy.

Are area was at the end of runway and they seemed to walk them up runway. I have his picture with Two Thai soldiers at Ft. Eustus.
