May God bless your soul and be with your family. You gave so many years in service to your country and it is truly heartbreaking to know that you gave the ultimate sacrifice. You are a true hero and you will never be forgotten!

STARKKEY OLD FRIEND, I REMEMBER AND MISS YOU
HI KURT, TIM FROM OUT BY THE AIRPORT HERE. JUST THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW I WAS AT THE WALL THIS YEAR AND VISITED YOU THERE. YOU'D REALLY LIKE THE WAY IT IS SET UP. YOU ARE LISTED UP HIGH ON PANEL 54E LINE 29. ANYWAY I REMEMBER HOW WE USE TO CUT IN ON EACH OTHER AT DANCES AT THE OLD YWCA AND UP AT LAKE WHACOM. WE HAD SOME GOOD TIMES BACK THEN. YOU WERE A GOOD PAL AND I WILL REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS. I WAS A SIGNAL OFFICER AT LONG BINH IN 1968/69. I LEARNED THRU BOB KLOC LATER THAT YOU HAD BEEN KILLED. REST WELL OLD FRIEND YOOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN NOR IS YOUR SACRIFICE TO OUR NATION. TIM FLOCKOI CL BHS 1961, CL 3-66 FA OCS.

Kurt: Your memory will live on with all the "kids" we grew up with in the "ole" neighborhood. The sandlot baseball games, the fireworks and your indomitable spirit was so important to us all! We all owe you so much! God Bless you for your service to this great country! I will see you again on the other side of the veil buddy! Rudolph W, Barich Sr.

Love lives on forever...
Love lives on forever
in each memory
and thought
Of the special ones
who meant so much
and the happiness
they brought.

Love lives on forever-
it will never fade away-
For, in our hearts,
our loved ones
are with us everyday.

May this poem bring you and your family the peace and comfort that it has continued to give me after the passing of my grandpa. You will always remain in my thoughts for the bravery you portrayed in fighting for our country
