Grade school friend
I remember as a child being a friend of Billy's. We went to grade school together and often played at each others house. I used to think it was so cool that he ived close to a saw-mill and an ice cream store! I have thought of Billy many times over the years and now that I am almost 60, have so much more appreciation for his friendship and sacrifice. I hope his folks and family know what a special person he was.

Still missed.
This past Thursday (July 4 2002) marked the thirty fourth year since your death. I still think of the times we had growing up, playing baseball, swimming, hunting, and of course girls and cars. I've lost track of all the folks we grew up with, and sort of lost track of how long ago vietnam happened. I to was drafted, and was a member of 1st bn 14th Inf, 25 Inf Div. 1970-1971. Discharged in Dec 1971 and reenlisted in the Army National Guard in April 1997, went to OCS and became an officer and retired in 1997. Still live around our old stomping grounds and still think of you often. Donnie
