Unforgetable
I will never forget Ralph. I lived next door to him and his parents when i was very small. Ralph always took the time to play with my brother and I no matter how busy he was. I can remember when he came home on leave he came over to say hello to my Dad and he picked me up and gave me a big hug. I was always amazed how he could do a hand stand and walk around, (I was only 5 yrs old). I will never forget the day that black Cadillac with American flags on it pulled up to the Poseys house. Back then I didn't really understand, I just knew Audrey was very sad. I still went over to Audreys to visit and to play with Ralph's nephew Kelly. Audrey would let me look at Ralph's purple heart she kept in the living room. Ralph was an amazing individual and I want to say THANK YOU!!

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother”. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

A FRIEND LOST, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN
I WAS ONE OF RALPH'S MANY FRIENDS IN HIGH SCHOOL. I CAN STILL SEE A SMILING RALPH IN MY MIND LIKE IT WAS JUST YESTERDAY. SEVERAL YEARS AGO, I VACATIONED IN WASHINGTON D.C. AND VISITED THE VIET NAM MEMORIAL. I SAW YOUR ENGRAVED NAME ON THAT WALL OF HONOR. I WILL FOREVER REMEMBER YOU AS A HIGH SCHOOL FRIEND AND HERO. GOD BLESS YOU RALPH AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND SACRIFICE.

Ralph, You are my Hero Forever
Ralph and I grew up together. He knew me from Birth. When we were little, he would always tell his Mom Audrey and my Mom Wanda, "I'm gonna marry Laura one of these days when I get big." We remained friends throughout his short lifetime as did our families, I love Ralph, and I always feel his presence with me. He is my guide and protector now as he was when we were children. I know that I will someday walk with this gentle loving man again. Ralph, I know that You are with me. Thank you for the love of your friendship that you gave so freely and unconditionally. There is one thing I have always wanted to tell you Ralph and that is "I wish when You were home on leave that last time, that I had held You and comforted You, to help ease the pain and anguish that You were going through inside that You hid so well from a naive 16 year old girl. I never knew Ralph, the horrors that You were going through until I was much older. I wish I could hear You laugh one more time, or help you work on your car again, but more than anything, I wish I could just hold you in my arms and let you feel the love I will always carry for you in my heart. I love You Ralph, Laura

My Precious Cousin
Ralph, I will never forget the day that you came to see me at my moms, Aunt Peaches to you. You were so nervous. You must have smoked a whole pack of cigarettes just sitting there. You told me that you were going to quit college and enlist in the army. I tried to talk you out of it. I wish now that I would have spent those last minutes with you telling you how much you meant to me. I was married and living in San Diego when mom called and said that you had been hurt and was in a hospital in Japan. I felt lost and hopeless. I know that at the moment you died I saw you standing at my closet door. It scared me so bad I fell on my knees and cried. Within in 30 minutes mom called and said that you didn't make it. I know that you had come to say goodbye. Goodbye for now. I miss you and know that I will see you again some day. I love you Ralph. You have always been my favorite cousin. I am thankful that God allowed us to be cousins. I am a richer person because of it.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Ralph Edward Posey an Americian Hero and loving brother
Ralph was a loving brother and will not be forgotten.
He served his country with pride and honor at a time
when many did not.He did not ask what could my country
do for me.However he asked what can I do for my country.
Ralph gave our country his life.He will always be in
our hearts. We miss him very much and I know in the future
we will all see him again.
