Your Corvette
I was in Bearcat when I heard of Lynn's death. He was our first. I think of him all the time especialy on January 29. I have a picture of Lynn and 'Mouse' back at Fort Riley. One of the things Lynn told me was that when he got home he wanted that new 1968 Corvette. When I got home I bought one for him. It was a great car brother, I wish you were here to enjoy it.

The young dead soldiers do not speak.
Nevertheless, they are heard in the still houses:
who has not heard them?
They have a silence that speaks for them at night
and when the clock counts.
They say: We were young. We have died.
Remember us.
They say: We have done what we could
but until it is finished it is not done.
They say: We have given our lives but until it is finished
no one can know what our lives gave.
They say: Our deaths are not ours: they are yours,
they will mean what you make them.
They say: Whether our lives and our deaths were for
peace and a new hope or for nothing we cannot say,
it is you who must say this.
We leave you our deaths. Give them their meaning.
We were young, they say. We have died; remember us.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother”. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

You will never be forgotten
Grandpa Miles, your father, was always remembering you flying the flag proudly. He made sure all his grandkids and great grandkids were aware of your's and other military families sacrifice before his death in 1994.
