Was there when killed
Track broke down, with Medina and Kelly, jumped over hedge to get into ditch, caught a round through the chest. Killed instantly. Medina received Silver Star that day. We had been ambushed by about a battalion of NVA. Lost our CO the night before. We beat them, but at a great cost.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother”. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

Gridley High School Posting Project
Dear Ivy,
My name is Katie, and I’m part of the Gridley High School Posting Project which we go and post remembrances for all of you who fought in the war. Our goal is to post a remembrance for everyone on here. I just thought that you would like to know that you are extremely courageous. You tried your best, and got us far. Thank you for all you have done for this country.
Sincerely,
Katie
