Thank You Kenneth

I never actually had the honor of meeting you. My father, John Ege, was your cousin. Thank you for my freedom, and know, that you will never be forgotten. I have an etching of your name from the Wall in our nation's capitol, and every time I look at it, it reminds me of how lucky we are to live in freedom.

I will never forget you

My father was your cousin. Thank you for your service to your country. I will never forget what you have done for our country. I work in a department store, and shake hands with all the veterans that come in, and thank them. When I do, I think of you, and your sacrifice for your country.

Thank You Kenneth

Thank you, Kenneth, for making the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Many of those who live in freedom, because of your actions, do not realize how lucky, and blessed we are to have it. Thanks again, for my freedom.

Thanks for your service to our country

I was 7 years old when Kenny was in Vietnam . We lived a few doors away from the Kralick family and I can still remember seeing Kenny in his uniform when he left to go there . I ended up serving in the Marine Corp and never forgot Kenny til this day . Thank you Kenny for sacrificing so much for freedom and always know that you are never forgotten

A Note from The Virtual Wall
On December 16, 1967, C Company, 1/5 Infantry (Mech), was collocated with the battalion forward base camp in Tay Ninh Province. In late morning a VC force attacked the company with rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons. Four members of the company died in the attack, with a dozen or more wounded. The dead were:
SSG Kenneth D. Kralick, Baltimore, MD
SP5 James Y. Hidalgo, Uvalde, TX
SP4 Michael T. Collins, Philadelphia, PA
SP4 Edward A. Finlay, Albany, NY

The Best of Times

I remember all the wonderful times we had together. I remember when we said goodbye. I still have all your letters and your ring. I wish I had a photo of you - photos of us together. I saw your name on The Wall. It was too high up for me to caress. It has been too long since I visited your grave. But you were my first love and you will always live on in my heart.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear SSGT Kenneth Donald Kralick, sir As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned. May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you. With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir Curt Carter

Thank You for my freedom. It's not free, it was earned on many a battlefield, in many conflicts.

Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother”. Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

All the summers at the shore home are etched in my memories. All the family times in Pimlico are etched in my mind. I followed you to Southeast Asia after you returned home. Why do the good ones not return intact? Your panel is in the print Reflections by Lee Tetter and the agony is mine.

Hero
Hello, my name is Kristin Butikofer and I attend Gridley High School in Gridley, Illinois. For my World History class, I was recently assigned to make remembrances for the Gridley High School Posting Project for the soldiers that lost their lives in the Vietnam War. You left many things behind, but the most important thing you left behind was your life. I know I will never have to go through all the pain and suffering you went through, but if you hadn't done what you did for our country, things would be much different. I respect you greatly. You will never be forgotten and you will always be remembered as a hero. Thank you so much and God bless
