Uncle Fred, I was just very little when you left, but I can still remember you. Your sacrifice inspired me to make a career in the Army and many of my cousins also followed your lead by serving our country. We still discuss you when we get together. I saw your name on the wall and I imagined how terrible it must have been so far away from your family. A year or so later I found myself in a far off land in a combat zone and learned you were not alone, the family of your comrades were with you and cared for you as much as we do. I see by the comments on this forum they are still with you even today. You and your sacrifice have not been forgotten and you are still badly missed by your family.

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. "He which hath no stomach to this fight let him depart. But we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless You for your Sacrifice!!!

God Bless Fred Kelley, God Bless Our Soldiers, God Bless Our Country!
Fred, though we never met, you will always be in our hearts. I had married/divorced your younger brother and have beautiful children. We all love you and will always remember you and what you had sacrificed for us. We stand on this ground in our country as FREE men, women, and children, because of the bravery of soldiers like yourself. We thank you Fred and the soldiers of the past, present, and future. May you wear that badge of courage, bravery, and honor forever. God Bless America!!!

Found You and will never Forget Your Sacrifice
We arrived in Vietnam together and were assigned to the 3rd Brigade 25th Inf. C Troop 3rd Squadron 4th Cavalry. There were eight of us upon arrival. Hall, myself, you, and others. I have been to the Wall many times but I'm truly sorry I could not think of your first name. Thanks to this page I finally found it. I can only pray that you are with the Good Lord and serving him also. You will never be forgotten. I pray that somehow your family gets this message and knows that there are others who knew you, served with you at Duc Pho, and the South China Sea beach, and all of the others that gave their all for their country. We did not question why, we just did.

I love you!
