A Note from The Virtual Wall
At 1600, 21 Jul 1966, the 2nd Platoon, B/1/5th Infantry, got into a firefight while conducting operations in the Fil Hol Rubber Plantation. During the fight, an armored personnel carrier maneuvered to attack the enemy's flank. The APC was totally destroyed when a command-detonated mine set off TNT and C-4 explosives carried within the APC. Seven men died in the incident:

“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!
