Do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

True Hero
Hello, my name is Kayla Butikofer. I am a student at Gridley High School in Illinois. Our History teacher assigned all of his History classes to do a Gridley High School Posting project on this site for the brave people who died for our country. Thank you so much for sacrificing your life for our country. You have a lot of courage and people look up to you for it. You are truly a hero and will never be forgotten. Thank you and god bless!
