“You are Remembered”
Peace and condolence, to the family and friends. “He which hath no stomach, to this fight, let him depart. But we in it, shall be remembered. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!! For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

My long lost friend, is found
I only recently learned, of Eddie's death, in South Vietnam. He and I, were childhood best friends, until the age, of 13. I had, many memories over the years, of Eddie and all, of them were dear, to me. He had a zest, for life and was always, pushing the boundries of all the ground rules, that were established, in the 1950's. We spent many hours, exploring, the world and experiencing all of life's lessons, good and bad. He certainly deserved more out of life, than an early death in a very remote place, but I'am sure, that a great many other people, feel, the same way. I will always, remember Eddie and I hope, that his sacrifice, will be remembered. It would be important to him, not, to be forgotten. I love you, Eddie.

Always Be Remembered!
Recognizing some Vietnam War Veterans was an assignment given to me by my U.S History teacher. I thought this would be a really neat assignment that will make an impact to many people. Edward Harry Gernet served in the Army and will always be remembered!
