Bruce Collins
I trained w Bruce in Ft Benning NCO school. Shared an apartment with he & Cyndy during training. I think of him often. A really genuine nice guy. Such a shame to lose him in this senseless war.

For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

We grew up together and were friends from the very beginning until the end. I will always have fond memories of you. I remember the double dates in your hot 57 Chevy. I remember the last time I saw you just before you left for Vietnam. You told me to stay in school. It didn't matter. After I graduated, I followed you to Vietnam in 1972. I visit your grave at the Belview Cemetary every time I visit my parents. You are right between your mother and father where you belong. They were devestated when you died and it proper that you are now together again. Your brother's daughter was born on the day you died. I guess life does follow death. I miss you and I all ways will. Sleep softly dear cousin. You are not forgotten.

Twenty-one, was, so young. you had, so much more, life, to live and a young bride, left behind. Thank you and all, of your fellows whose names, line the walls, of this memorial, again. When the news, came, that you, had perished, it left an ache, I will, carry forever.

NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER
It is said a man hasn't died as long as he is remembered. This prayer is a way for families, friends and fellow veterans to remember our fallen brothers and sisters. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die

Never Forgotten
Over 30 years and the memories continue. Stationed at Fort Gordon together, living off Post, you and Cindy just newly married, as was I. I remember your laughter and the fun we had there. Both of us went to Viet Nam, I still remember getting the letter from Cindy that you had been killed. So many died. My heart still hurts for you and so many others and the pain the we all suffered. We were just so very young and very scared
