WITHIN THIS WALL
WITHIN THIS WALL, FIFTY FIVE THOUSAND, VOICES, SILENTLY SCREAMING, FROM WITHIN THIS WALL. FIFTY FIVE THOUSAND, VOICES, THAT BRAVELY, GAVE THEIR ALL, A GASP, A SIGH AND A LITTLE MOAN, ALL CARRIED IN THE WIND, GENTLY WHISPERING, THEIR WISHES AND THOUGHTS, FROM WITHIN. FOR OUR COUNTRY WE CARED, WE EVEN FOUGHT, LET THOSE THAT WAVERED, HAVE JUSTICE BROUGHT. FOR THEM, THAT PROTESTED AND TO OTHER NATIONS, WENT, BE TRIED FOR TREASON AND AWAY BE SENT. OUR LIVES WERE SPENT, SO OTHERS COULD BE FREE, WHILE SOME RESISTED AND THOUGHT, THEIR IDEALS SHOULD BE. REMEMBER US AMERICA, WE GAVE OUR ALL, WE WERE YOUR CHILDREN, THESE VOICES, WITHIN THIS WALL.

THANKS!
Dear Sir,
I was born, in 1963 and knew little, of this horrible time in history. I have since learned much, about the millions, of brave young men, like you who faced unbearable odds, to keep me and my family free, even though, you never knew me nor I you. I have 8, children, who live in a FREE COUNTRY, because of you and I thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Tears come to my eyes, for what you have done. Happy Birthday, Forever! Thank you.

For he today, that sheds his blood with me, shall always be my brother.” Rest in peace brave soldier, you have not been forgotten. (W.Shakespeare) May God Bless you, for your Sacrifice!!!

Remembering An American Hero
Posted on 11/1/13 - by Curt Carter ccarter02@earthlink.net

Dear SP4 John Joseph Adduci, sir As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned. May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you. With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir Curt Carter

I was named after you, and I wish I could have met you. All the stories I heard make me know that I would have liked having you as an uncle. You are missed, but we know that you are in heaven. I've attached a picture of the car you were going to buy when you came home. -John A Adduci

John, there was so much you had planned to do. I hope the letters you left behind will inspire those alive today to appreciate the "little things".

Thank You

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment and your bravery. You gave your life fighting for your country; you left your family, friends, and loved ones behind forever to die on a war-torn battlefield. I cannot possibly thank you enough, but thank you, for all you’ve done

John, Bobby, Kenny, Lt. Myers and me ...

As I set and look at the screen trying to think what to type my mind is flashing back on seeing John in the TC seat, or seeing him point out bunkers to the Lt., or hear him and Bobby decide "left or right, which way?", or that look he had that said a thousand things! Shareing "C's", "when I get back" talks .... I still don't know what to say, but man I can sure see it!
