  28 Mar 69: Mar 28, 2015

On March 28, 1969 elements of the 3/4 Cavalry were engaged in a firefight AMBUSH VICINITY OF INTERSECTION HWY 239 AND LTL-26, 13 KM E-SE TAY NINH 19690328. The troop sustained 3 KIA's and 11 WIA's. I was wounded during that engagement and was dusted off with two other cavalrymen and the three men that were killed that day. Until recently I did not know the identity of these men that perished. I now know they were PFC Earl Ferguson D Troop, SGT Michael Poggi and PFC George Browning both from A Troop. Rest in peace gentlemen see you at Fiddler's Green.
