Personal Memories

Best Friends
Gary Paxton
John Perry

Best Moment
Getting 2 days light duty after getting an ingrown tonail cut off.
Graduating

Worst Moment
Field Traing Exercise in snow-slush-rain and sleeping in shelter halves with no heat; going to hospital with acute toncsillitis.  Getting a severely infected toenail that had to be removed and having to show it to our lSG before I could go on sick-call. Pretty demeaning and funny at the same time.

Instructors
SSG Hall - Best DI on the planet
SFC Reid - One bad ass Senior DI

Other Memories
Ninety percent of the graduating class becoming 11B Infantry and knowing we were headed to Vietnam.
A DI I can't remember who survived getting shot 4 times in Vietnam taking a shower with us and looking like he had survived an autopsy - realty check of what was to come.
