Personal Memories

Best Friends
Phillips and Aldridge.

Best Moment
Sneeking Krispy Kream Donuts from the back of the Mess Hall. Chunking grenades! MP's waking everybody up in the middle of the night to arrest a guy that had actually gone AWOL from the Marines and had joined the Army.

Worst Moment
Coming back almost six hours late from Operation Exodus (Christmas Leave) thinking DS was going to eat me or throw me in the stockade. Scared to death I walked up and offered my push-up services; he didn't even yell at me, said I had done the right thing and called in, then told me to get to the barracks and get in uniform. Actually it may have been more like; "Now get your ASS...

Instructors
SSG Rodriques and SSG Burgess

Other Memories
My first introduction to diversity. How cool it was to meet people from all over and hear about how they grew up and lived. And all the new Sir Names to learn how to say; how cool we actually had a Frankenstine from California and he was about 6'5" too.
