Since the Army I've worked as a civilian military advisor in the Middle East, a heavy equipment operator, brakeman, foreman and engineer on the railroad,(S.P., S. T. & E)
Now I'm retired and just looking for fun and travel with my wife when ever I can.
Best Moment Two weeks in the hospital! Nurses, food, nice bed.
Worst Moment When I was released from the hospital and was informed we'd be taking the final PT test the next day. Two weeks on my ass and then a PT test, I made it, then on to G-3 testing. Was very worried I'd be recycled for the time in the hospital but I wasn't cause I graduated with my platoon.
Instructors Ssgt. Guyton, Killed just before graduation in an auto accident with two other drill sgt.'s in our company. I'll never forget that man! A true soldiers soldier!
