I met Wally Plebe year and got to know him better at Camp Buckner. He was very friendly and outgoing and had a unique sense of humor. Everyone seems to have been his friend. We ran across each other from time to time on campus, on class trips, etc. I was shocked and saddened when he was killed in Vietnam. I miss him very much.
