Brian had been a lawyer since 1995. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and a member of the Alaska Bar. Prior to his military service and combat tour in Iraq, he worked on Bankruptcy/Debtor cases from the time he passed the bar in 1995 in Washington State and practiced law until coming to Alaska in on active duty with the US Army in 2001. Brian has worked as a sole practitioner since November 2010 doing mostly bankruptcy and federal criminal felony cases, and formerly: as a family Law and bankruptcy attorney in a busy law firm in Port Orchard, Washington. He has worked as a contract attorney, Washington State lawmaker 1996-2001, Paratrooper/Military Police Officer and US Army JAG lawyer 2001-2008. He is a graduate of the US Army Judege Advocate General (JAG) Officers School, the US Army Counterintelligence Agent Course and the US Army Military Police School. He is a member of the Alaska Bar, and the US District Court of Alaska Bar and US District Court for the Western District of Washington. He was born in University Place, Washington.
