Last Known Activity
Corporal Clem Robert Boody was a member of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy near Unsan, North Korea on November 2, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. 

In November 1950, Boody was assigned to Headquarters Company, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division then occupying a defensive position near Unsan, North Korea north of a bend in the Kuryong River known as the Camel's Head. On Nov. 1, parts of two Chinese Communist Divisions struck the 1st Cavalry Division's lines, collapsing the perimeter and forcing a withdrawal. Boody was reported missing on Nov. 2, 1950

Clem served two tours with the army. He enlisted in the Army on October 28, 1944 serving in the Philippines and the Pacific Theater during World War Two. He was in the Army Corps of Engineers and held the rank of Tecnition 5th Grade. He was honorably discharge on November 05, 1945. Then enlisted in the Reserves on November 06, 1945 In July of 1948 he was actovated in to the Regular Army.

Corporal Clem Robert Boody was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
