Pfc Bradley J. Simmons, 18, Ancramdale, a former resident of Millerton, reportedly lost his life in enemy action August 12 at Chu Lai, Vietnam. He was the son of the late Andrew Simmons and Mrs. Joseph Zullo, Ancramdale. Pfc Bradley was married last March 2 to the former Deborah Jones, who survives. He attended school in Pine Plains, and had made his home in Ancramdale for the past seven years. In addition to his wife, mother and step-father, he is survived by two sisters, Bunny Ingles and Tammy Zullo, Ancramdale; a brother, Michael Simmons, Ancramdale; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Milton, Millerton; and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, August 24th at the Valentine Funeral Home, Millerton. Burial with full military honors was in Irondale Cemetery.
