According to the EL PASO HERALD POST of Friday, May 24, 1968 "James W Parham, killed in action in Vietnam on Jan 20, 1968, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Parham....Pfc. Parham (was) awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart postumously.
