Some other leads on Luther:  Seems he was actually born January Jan 03, 1930 in Navarro, Texas (from Texas Birth Index)  His father was Luther Page (born 1904 farm laborer) and his mother was Dessie Mae Walker ( born 1907).  Navarro is a town about 60 miles Southeast of Dallas.  He has a sister, Almeta Page (born 1929).
