U.S. Army Air Forces, 748th Bomber Squadron, 457th Bomber Group, 8th AAF

His B-17 was shot down over St. Martin, France on a bombing mission to Augsburg, Germany.

His remains were never recovered.  His name is placed on the tablets of the missing at the American Cemetery in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
