Private First Class Wyszcelski was a member of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He died of "other causes" on August 9, 1953 in his company area at APO 468, Korea. Private First Class Wyszcelski was awarded the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
