NEWS RELEASE: Two 7th Sustainment Brigade Soldiers killed in Iraq. 

FORT DRUM:   Two Soldiers assigned to the 7th Sustainment Brigade were killed in Iraq March 12  when their non-tactical vehicle was struck by indirect fire. 

Staff Sergeant Juantrea T. Bradley and Specialist Tenzin L. Samten, were assigned to 7th Special Troops Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade, and deployed to Tallil Air Base, Iraq, in October 2007 to provide logistical support. 

Two other Soldiers from the 7th Sustainment Bde., were injured in the incident.  

The 10th Mountain Division provides training and readiness oversight for the 7th Sust. Bde. 

Bradley, 28, was a cargo specialist and joined the Army in february 2001.. He completed basic training at Fort Jackson, S.c., and advanced individua training at Fort Benning, Ga. 

His first assignment was the 23rd Ordnance Company based at Miesau Army Depot in Germany. In November 2001, he was reassigned to 1st Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment at Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia. 

Bradley was reassigned to Fort Eustis in March 2004 where he served with the 149th Transportation Company and 155th Transportation Company. He joined the 7th Sust. Bde. in June 2007. 

He served in Iraq from January to July 2003 and in Kuwait from February to August 2002. 

Bradley is a grauate of the Warrior Leader Course and the Cargo Officer Course. 

His awards and decorations are posted. 

He is survived by his wife and children.
