SFC Joe Mac Brown, was born August 24, 1929 in Maryville, Tennessee to Charlie and Nannie Belle (Valentine) Brown. In 1952, he united in marriage with Lucille Agnes Schooler, daughter of Reverend llen Henry and Annie Lucille (McCall) Schooler. No children were born from this union. They divorced in 1955. Joe united in marriage with Ila Norman, daughter of Joel and Alberta (Johnson) Norman on November 24, 1956. To their union a daughter Felisa O, was born. At age 41, he became a casualty of the Vietnam War on September 18, 1970 in Bien How, Dong Nai, Vietnam. His wife and daughter resided in Columbus, Ohio. SFC Brown memory is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, 7W, 71. Preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Nannie Brown; and brother, James Warren Brown. Joe is survived by his loving wife Ila Brown; beautiful daughter, Felisa, supporting siblings, George Raymond Brown, Nathaniel Nathan Brown, Robert Lee Brown, Mary Etta Brown Wood, Opal Jayne Brown Davis, John Henry Brown, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
