After dad got out of the Army, he worked at a pump manufacturing plant and then moved on to working at a bakery, first as a route salesman and then as a sales supervisor.
Once he retired, he and mom enjoyed camping and traveling around including visiting me while I was stationed at Lowry AFB in Denver.
Dad never really got a chance to enjoy retirement for long, he passed in November of 1991 at the age of 68.
Other Comments:
I am slowly acquiring more info on dad's military life and building his profile. He was struck down, way too early in life. I sincerely regret, I never had a chance to ask more about his time in the Army. It certainly would have made his profile a lot more easier to complete.
