T/SGT CARL L. WADE HAD ALREADY SERVED ABOUT 3 YEARS IN HAWAII BEFORE THE U.S. ENTERED WWII. IN SEPTEMBER OF 1941 T/SGT WADE WAS SENT TO ICELAND WHERE HE SERVED UNITL APRIL OF 1944 WHEN HE WAS SENT TO ENGLAND AND THEN ON TO FRANCE. ON SEPTEMBER 1945 CARL WADE WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED AT FORT GEORGE MEADE, MARYLAND. CARL WADE PASSED AWAY IN HAMBLETON, WV ON 15 NOVEMBER 1987.
