S/SGT GLANCY C. GOOD WORKED AS A FARM HAND BEFORE HE ENLISTED WITH THE ARMY NATIONAL GUARD ON 5 FEBRUARY 1940.  HE WAS ASSIGNED TO SERVICE COMPANY OF THE 201ST INFANTRY REGIMENT AND STATIONED IN ALASKA FROM 16 SEPTEMBER 1941 UNTIL 17 MARCH 1944.  S/SGT GOOD WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED ON 19 JUNE 1945.  THE SOCIAL SECURITY DEATH INDEX LISTS HIS DATE OF PASSING AS 21 MAY 2002 HE IS BURIED IN COLUMBIA GARDENS CEMETERY, ARLINGTON, VA.
