Jeffrey Lee Drake a twenty five year old resident of Chelsea passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010. Jeffrey was born on October 26, 1984 in Miami, Oklahoma to Gary and Gerri (Porter) Drake. Mr. Drake was a graduate of Wyandotte High School with the class of 2003. He married Jenn Boyd on August 18, 2007 near Miami, Oklahoma at the Eastside Assembly of God. Jeffrey was a member of the United States Army where he worked as a UH-60 Mechanic. He began his career with the 10th Mountain Division out of Fort Drum, New York; during his time there he served tours in Korea and Afghanistan. Jeffery recently returned from Iraq where he served with Bravo Company 2-285 Assault Helicopter Battalion Oklahoma Army National Guard. He was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Verdigris, his family was number one in his life, he enjoyed his guns and roping but his truck was very important too. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother Gerri Drake on March 25, 2009 and Grandfather Bill Drake.

Survivors include his wife of the home Jenn Drake, his father Gary Drake of Wyandotte, his brothers Justin Drake also of Wyandotte and Gary Drake Jr. of Fort Knox, Kentucky, his grandparents Anna Marie and Kenneth Porter along with Aunts, Uncles and many Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
