Master Sergeant James T. "Cuatro" Jones IV



SAN ANGELO Master Sergeant James T. (Cuatro) Jones IV passed from this life Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, in Tampa Florida General Hospital. He was born Dec. 19, 1967, in San Angelo, Texas. Cuatro graduated from Water Valley High School in 1985. He attended ASU and and graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science and received a master's degree in business administration from Touro University in 2008. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1415 in Carlsbad, Texas. Cuatro has served our country for 17 years in the U.S. Army. He was recently transfered to Tampa, Fla., McDill Air Force Base, in the USSocom division. Cuatro is survived by his wife, Jin Sun; son James Thomas Jones V (Quincy); three stepchildren, Jessica, Victor and Matthew of Tampa, Fla.; his parents, Jim T. Jones III and Kay Jones of San Angelo; sister Michelle Pustka and husband Gary; brother Craig Chambers, all of Grape Creek; grandmother Virginia Lynn; and two nephews, Brandon and Dustin Coleman, all of San Angelo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ginna Lynn Jones; his maternal grandfather, Cotton Lynn; and paternam grandparents, Jim T. Jr. and Laverne Jones. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Shaffer Funeral Home/Grape Creek. Honorary pallbearers will be Dee Simms (Cuatro's godfater), Master Sergeant Brian Burns, Tim Jennings, Chris Taylor, Craig Younts and Daniel Fontenot. There will also be a military graveside service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, in Norton Cemetery. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
