What are you doing now:

Drinking from a fire hose! Huge area of responsibility and less than 90 days to get running. No right/left seat rides here...the individual I replaced retired today.

Negotiating pay was something new to me! I didn't realize that civilian employers were smart with regards to our retirement pay! They will try to take that pay into consideration when preparing a salary offer to you - slicky boy style! Stand your ground and make them pay you based on your qualifications and experience!
