Last Known Activity:

CPT Stout was the original member of the US Army Monuments, Fine Arts and Archives (MFAA) Section during World War Two.  The mission of the MFAA was to locate, preserve and return valuable art treasures stolen by the Nazis thoughout the ETO.  

The MFAA was dramatized in the movie "The Monuments Men".
