Description
2nd Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment and ARVN 5th Division operation against Vietcong 9th Division on Route 13 near Minh Thanh in Binh Long Province. The 3rd Bde, 1st Inf Div and the ARVN 5th Div opened Route 13 from Saigon to the rubber plantations in Binh Long Province and attack the VC 9th Div as it masses in the area of An Loc and Loc Ninh. The allies claimed 855 known enemy casualties.
