Description
The 173d conducted a two phase highway security operation along Highway 15 from Phu My to Long Binh and from Phu My to Bear Cat for elements of the 199th Light Infantry Brigade and the 9th Infantry Division.

Memories
Somewhere in the Swan Locke area of Vietnam, he Recalls how Sgt.Morris treated the wounded,knocked out 2 VC machine gun bunkers,kept the men's spirtits up and fought like a trooper for more than 8 hours till reinforcements arrived, saved 5 lives.
